LEADERSHIP The Altamont Theatre Conservatory is headed by Christopher Lynn, Managing Director of the Altamont Theatre, a veteran theatre performer, and instructor in the renowned Brevard Music Center’s Young Vocal Artists Program. His students have gone on to study and earn scholarships in prestigious programs at the Julliard School (New York City), North Carolina School of the Arts, Elon College and Emerson College (Boston). His performing and directing experience includes Raoul in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “PHANTOM OF THE OPERA”, Tony in “WEST SIDE STORY”, The Beast in Disney’s “BEAUTY & THE BEAST”, and ABC-TV’s "One Life to Live."
THE CONSERVATORY PROGRAMThe Altamont Theatre Conservatory admits students in three grade/age divisions, mirroring a school model of elementary, middle and high school. Students progress with colleagues at similar developmental and age-based interest levels through the program.1) Altamont Conservatory Youth Company grades 3-5 (approximate ages 8-11)
2) Altamont Conservatory Company grades 6-8 & 9-12 (approximate ages 11-14 & 15-19)

- MUSICAL COACHING &: VOICE TEACHER REFERRAL GUIDANCE -Young singers need knowledgeable guidance to use their natural voices and avoid imitating older, mature voices they may hear. We recommend ensemble singing, and progressing to music lessons when advisable for each student's particular voice and focus.

PRICING: $2600 per year Monthly payment plan: $260 per month for 10 months, Sept. through June, due 1st of each month. (Some Additional charges for retreat; Big City Theatre trip; Professional Workshops at discount.)
